VELVET EVERYTHING The first of these 5 Fall 2016 trends, definitely is velvet. This season is oh-so-chic in all its opulence. With a retro allure, which reminds me of the 90’s, velvet was a must on the runways for this Fall/Winter. The boldest of you can choose a total look like the one above from Alberta Ferretti, or a pair of velvet boots. If you don’t want to overdo, choose a pair of velvet culottes or a black choker.
Gucci, Tibi, Lanvin, Gucci, Valentino
MILITARY STYLE is in fashion once again. Seen on the runways of Milan, New York and Paris, it proposes military green total outfits, long coats or capes and short double bottoned jackets. This Tibi skirt (also above) is absolutely one of my favorite pieces.
Burberry, Yeezy, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, Herve Leger
BOMBER JACKETS Also stolen from the 90’s, the trend is now to wear oversize bomber jackets. Wear it with jeans, or even with a dress, double layer if you want to achieve a more sophisticated look (see Stella McCartney above). MIDI KNIT DRESSES One of the most flattering trends of the season is midi knit dresses. Cozy, warm yet incredibly stylish, they are what you’ll need to wear now that fall is coming. Style them with boots or sneakers, any shoe seem to fit these dresses. Go for a black simple one with a split, or a nude option like this one from Derek Lam. Find more of my picks below.

MENSWEAR Weather you choose a suit or an oversize blue shirt, the point is that it has to look like you stole your outfit from your boyfriend’s closet.
